Someone Special

Hello Friends!

I wanted to show you one of my favorite Christmas cards I recieved this year. It's from the daughter of a new friend I've made! And the ways we meet one another continue to amaze me.

You need the background story. So, you remember my 32 days of Crafty Christmas Celebration? Well, one of my crafty friends, Laura Jane told me that her family hand makes almost 100 cards to send out! The whole family sits down and crafts! All the kids help. Love that!

Well, she was sweet enough to send me a little slide show of the fun. And I happened to comment on a card because I loved the way Meghan (one of her kiddos who happens to be 15 and happens to LOVE this Lawn Fawn set) put the shadow under the dragon because I'm particularly dense when it comes to shadowing.

And guess what??

she sent it to me! Whoot! I was grinning ear to ear! So sweet and I love it! I asked Laura if I could put this on my blog and her and Meghan said it would be ok!

I just wanted to share a warm fuzzy story :)
Melissa

Great story, sweet card Meghan! I am partial to dragons, ever since seeing the how to train one movie.

You're not the only one who is dense when it comes to that stuff. I am not a big fan of coloring or shading and Meghan just rocked my socks off! You lucky girl! Thanks for sharing!
