I have a confession. Clear the room. Here it is: I adore tags. I'm obsessed with making tags. I'm most proud of my tags. I think it's because the workable area is so small. I've been a Christmas kick because it's snowed here in Denver 3 times already. Now, I know Thanksgiving is just around the corner but I've already made my fall tags and cards!
This will have to go to someone really special! I started with a plain manila tag and just started stamping, embossing, inking, glittering it up!
I love this little area at the bottom, to add dimension. The entire background of the tag is covered with a generous layer of Forest Moss Distress Ink. Then I took the sprigs from the stamp set, mounted them, then sprayed them with water, then stamped the background. It's hard to see in the photos but it adds a really fun texture.
This stamp set from Lawn Fawn, "Ornate Ornaments" is just too stinkin' adorable. I embossed with sparkly powder then used distress inks to color. I also used "Bannerific" and "Cozy Christmas" from Lawn Fawn.
Thanks for stopping by!

That background you created looks great! I'll have to try that technique - thanks for sharing! :)
